With Drake’s More Life making its debut this past weekend, Soundplug is here to breakdown production credits and some shine to our fellow producers. Starting with the newer names, filling out their back story and round it out with Drake’s regular cast of producers usually in the picture
Check our piece earlier in the week on the samples used in on More Life.

Francis is a part of Toronto’s growing crop of rising producers, who recently had placements on Roy Woods’ Waking At Dawn, Big Sean’s I Decided and on More Life being one of the biggest.

Wallis Lane is a producer duo comprised of Farsi Beats and Dizzy who co-produced this with G. Ry.
Jazzfeezy & Steve Samson (Can’t Have Everything)
Jazz is a well-known producer from Ontario who alongside Boi-1da, created one of the best drum kits (I can personally attest to this) in the last 5 years and have multiple credits working with independent acts; he himself also said he likes the music speak for itself. Steve Samson is also a producer himself who also is a guitarist and frequently collaborates with Jazz.

Not much information out there on this duo but as I said in the previous piece, probably the hardest beat on the project.
G. Ry (Nothings Into Somethings, Since Way Back)
Ry is Party Next Door’s go to producer, previously working with Hit-Boy and the talented outfit Surf Club and has forged on an ongoing working relationship with PND.
