Being Future’s second album release of 2017, the production on HNDRXX, provides a refreshing departure of Future’s regular trap sound in favor of more melodic and ambient type sounds. For this Beats Behind the album breakdown we’ll be highlighting several names you may be reintroduced to, along with regular cast of producers Future works frequently with.
Fresh Air, Never Missa Lost, Selfish (featuring Rihanna)
Breaking on the scene in 2014, Major Seven has proven to be a versatile producer, scoring clutch placements with Rick Ross, Jay-Z, T-Pain, Tech N9ne and most recently, Future’s album. The Atlanta, Georgia native goes into detail on his work on this project here:
There were many things that led up to that [work on the album]. One of them, my manager, manages Zoey Dollaz, who’s signed to Future (Freebandz) so that’s how that relationship started there. I actually met Future a few times and told me I had some dope stuff. Thereafter, I started working with Detail and an artist I work with who’s from Texas. When he started working with Detail, he started putting him onto my work and he flew me out to LA to do some work. Later, when he came to Atlanta, he called me over one night to the studio and introduced me to Future. Big shout outs to Detail.

Detail is one of the industry’s most successful producers from producing songs for Lil Wayne, Beyonce’s Drunk In Love. Major Seven also went into describe his working relationship with Detail also a which lead to him working on Future’s album.
